JD Applications

Applications for admission are accepted at the Law School from October 1 to February 15. The Law School may exclude from consideration any application submitted after February 15 or any application that is incomplete by that date. Applications completed after February 15 may not receive a decision until mid-June. Applications are considered only for the current year and for full-time registration. There is no evening program nor is there mid-year entry.

The Admissions Committee begins review of completed applications in late November. Applicants whose supporting materials are received by the February 15 deadline are notified of final decisions by the end of May.

LLM, LLM International Human Rights, LLM/Kellogg, and Two-Year JD Applications

Applications for admission to the degree programs for international students are accepted from October 1 to December 15 for the LLM/Kellogg Program, to January 15 for the LLM and LLM IHR programs and February 1 for the Two-Year JD program. The Law School may exclude from consideration any application submitted after the deadline or any application that is incomplete by that date. LLM/Kellogg applicants whose files are complete by the deadline will be notified of admissions decisions by the end of March; LLM, LLM IHR and Two-Year JD applicants will be notified by the end of May.
