Jennifer Clark
Jennifer Clark, currently the Clinical Director for the Child Protection Division at the Cook County Juvenile Court Clinic (CCJCC), is a clinical psychologist, licensed in Illinois and Massachusetts, who specializes in issues related to child abuse and neglect. In her work at the CCJCC she oversees the forensic evaluation process within child protection courtrooms and provides training to judges and attorneys involved in child protection proceedings.
Prior to this she worked as the Assistant Clinical Director at the Child Abuse Unit for Studies, Education, and Service (CAUSES), overseeing the agency’s provision of mental health services for children and families involved with the Department of Children and Family Services. Dr. Clark is an appointed member of the Child Welfare Ethics Advisory Board for the Office of the Inspector General and of the Illinois Child Death Review Team. In addition she serves on the Disproportionate Minority Confinement Committee through the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative. Dr. Clark is also an adjunct professor in the doctoral program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
